Objectifs 
A financial market is a mechanism that allows people to easily buy and sell financial securities such as stocks, bonds, commodities, foreign exchange and derivatives. It facilitates the raising of capital, the transfer of risk and international trade. Financial markets have evolved significantly over several hundred years and are undergoing constant innovation to improve liquidity. This Graduate Microprogram in Financial Trading is a comprehensive program covering all aspects of financial market negotiation, from the trading of various securities and the management of risk to the operations of clearance and settlement. It aims to provide students with the tools to understand and appraise in financial operations.

The objectives of the Graduate Microprogram in Financial Trading are as follow:

- To be aware of the interactions between the front, the middle and the back office.
- To understand the relation between market price, information, market quality, etc.
- To be conscious of the market microstructure.
- To appreciate the main theories and methods of risk management and understand how they can be used in a real-world organisation.
- To analyse the information needed to the offsetting and settlement of financial operations.

Required Courses (9 crédits)
Exigences d'admission 
Applicants should be graduates of an accredited university and hold a Bachelor's degree in business or in a subject closely related to business. Please note that the final entry decision goes to the Graduate Programs Management Office. North American students should fill out the Graduate Microprogram in Financial Trading online application form. You will receive an e-mail confirmation of your enrolment.

Proficiency in English: Applicants must be fluent in English (oral and written).
